If you appreciate good-looking motorcycles and comprehend the idea that when riding a motorcycle it’s not about the destination so much as about the trip itself, you should mark this site is one of your favorites and come to this, our California Motorcycles blog, often to check our latest blog posts.
We like to cover all custom California motorcycle events and large California or motorcycle rides. Plus, we have some informative “how-to” motorcycle videos and motorcycle rider video interviews.
With the great weather and varied terrain Southern California has, it is definitely an ideal location for the California motorcycle enthusiast.
Even though our main coverage is for custom chopper motorcycles, we also cover all types of custom motorcycles as well as the Southern California motorcycle rider and the good-looking California motorcycle babes that enjoy riding on these high powered works of rolling art!
Personally having owned total custom choppers and factory built chopper’s, when it comes to riding a good-looking chopper motorcycle I’ve zeroed in on just to factory built custom choppers.
The only two bikes that I now own and would consider buying newer models of, were both the flagship models of their motorcycle manufacturers. Yes, I currently own a 2006 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper and a 2007 Big Dog K-9 chopper.
My American Ironhorse Texas Chopper has an S&S 111 in.³ engine and a 280 rear tire. My 2007 Big Dog K-9, has an S&S 117 in.³ engine and a 300 rear tire. I guess you could say that I really like the wide rear tire custom chopper look.
Also, not only because of my age, but also because of the crappy road conditions in San Diego, I would never consider any hard tail chopper. Sure, I’d like to lowered look of the hard tail, but, the hidden shock swinging arm look of both the Big Dog k9 and the American Ironhorse Texas Chopper are so close to the hard tail look, that most people who ask about the bikes when they parked downtown or in a busy location, assume that they are hard tail models.
