Of all the non-Harley-Davison engines, the most popular is the S&S engine. Many motorcycle enthusiast actually consider the S&S engine to be superior to the Harley-Davidson engine. S&S manufacturers quite a new motorcycle engines, but when it comes to the American Ironhorse motorcycles (This custom motorcycle manufacturer is now out of business, but their beautiful custom bikes remain extremely desirable) the most popular engines used were the 111 cubic inch, the 117 cubic inch, and the one 24 in.³. Of these three S&S engines, the 111 was by far the most popular, and considered by many to be the most dependable.
Trying to find out what motor and transmission I have on my bike engine serial number is CEO6J3430 the transmission number is 583402774 if you can help it would be great.

I really couldn’t help, but would suggest that you email a long a couple pictures of the transmission and the engine and we could post it here and see if somebody can help you by recognizing it.

The only numbers I can find are a star before the numbers x5384 and a star after the numbers. Can you tell me what cubic engine this is?
