Kevin was born in New Zealand where he completed a 9,000 hour, approximately four and a half years, of an automotive car painting apprenticeship.

In 1995, Kevin moved to America, where he began working at a couple bodyshops, customizing cars and motorcycles. After meeting Tony, the owner of Uptown Cycles in San Diego, California, Kevin spent the next ten years working there. In 2009, Tony sold Uptown Cycles and Kevin started Kiwi Custom Designs. Since venturing out on his own, Kevin has completed many motorcycle custom designs and been featured in Baggers and Easy Rider magazines. Kevin owner and designer of Kiwi Custom Designs has been painting Motorcycles, Choppers, and Street Bikes since 1986. His work has won awards and has been featured in magazines such as Bagger and Easy Riders. Kevin uses airbrushing, pin-striping, mural, and graphic art to create custom looks for motorcycles.
