The annual Palm Springs American he motorcycle rally 2013. Just concluded its three-day stint today at 5 PM. Although the promoters and I’m sure the Chamber of Commerce were predicting 10 to 15,000 motorcyclists, those who were there said the turnout looked like a tiny fraction of what was predicted.
One San Diego motorcyclist thought that there were more concession booths than motorcyclist! So, I guess for now the king of the motorcycle rallies remains Sturgis, South Dakota, where typically the annual rally generates over 500,000 motorcycle riders and friends.
For for San Diego and Orange County motorcycle riders who went to the Palm Springs event this weekend. The ride started out in foggy and cool conditions which quickly turned into a bright, sunny weekend that was warm as usual for the Palm Springs area.
