k9 Big Dog Motorcycle

The chopper in this video is 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback. This is a rigid frame with a 330mm huge rear tire. As far as rigid frame factory built custom choppers go, I think the Big Dog  Ridgeback is one of the best if not the best out there.

Now, when it comes to soft-tales, my two personal favorites are the k9 Big Dog motorcycle and the American Ironhorse Texas Chopper. It’s a shame that most people will never experience riding a high powered, sleek chopper like the k9 or Texas Chopper. Let’s face facts, riding any type of other motorcycle, including any Harley, is only partially experiencing what it’s like to ride one of these over 9 foot long beauties. (more…)

West Coast Thunder 2018. this motorcycle event is so huge ( some believe the largest in the country or the world) we did two videos about it. This is video number two to see the first video just look at our prior post.

Here were walking among the bikes prior to the official start which always occurs at 9:11 AM.

West Coast Thunder 2018 Riverside California.

This video was shot in the staging area for what I believe is California’s largest motorcycle rally . . . The annual West Coast Thunder motorcycle ride from Riverside California stopping at the Riverside National Cemetery ( the third largest national cemetery in the country), to place flags at the grave sites, and then proceeding on down the highway 215, with a California Highway Patrol escort to the Paris County Fairgrounds for a concert. California Motorcycle Event

The usual Southern California motorcycle events that I’ve attended usually include stunt riders, bikini bike wash, slow riding contest and the always popular wet T-shirt contest. But this event at Coronado Beach Harley-Davidson has none of those activities! It was called the Paul Bunyan lumberjack contest.

Yes, the main reason I wanted to attend was because I couldn’t get the idea of a lumberjack contest at a motorcycle event. Plus, as I would venture to speculate most motorcycle riders in Southern California haven’t seen a lumberjack contest. (more…)

This biker after-party was at Biggs Harley-Davidson in San Marcos California. There were two stunt bike demonstrations, live music, dozens of vendors, a free kids zone, food, BMX stunts, wrestling, car & bike show, and much more. Yes, it’s not even past the engine brakein period! also, just a few days ago, I had Curtis of Wild Steed Wox clean up and go over the electrical system because the Arizona dealer did a sloppy job on installing the upgraded EHC. At the same time, I had Curtis mount new Avon tires and balance them with the micro-bead system, so no ugly lead weights needed.
