One of our readers is selling his 2003 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper

Laughlin Bike Show ‘show special’ bike. One of a kind custom paint job. The color inside the lines changes from gold to red to purple depending on how the light hits it. In the 10 years I have had the bike, I have never seen the same paint job. Bike is in excellent condition.

It is a riding bike not a trailer bike. It has been to Sturgis, SD (and back) three times. It is great for local and long distance riding. Many custom options: air cleaner (mounted to match the tank), Martin Bros. pipes, custom sissy bar (solid mounted into steel fender mounts, but removable if you choose), mirrors (some rust on these), shift linkage, custom headlight assembly, etc. Tires have good tread remaining and the rear is a 240. Six speed transmission. Motor is S&S Super Stock, 107cid with brand new bottom end. Bike was originally sold in Nevada and has the ‘non-California’ carb and cams. CA bikes had Mikuni carb and this one has the S&S Super. Soft tail suspension but rides nice, smooth and low. New battery just installed. I keep it on a trickle charger and the batteries typically last 5 years on average. Rear seat is included, just not shown here. It sticks to the fender and will easily support a passenger.
