This is a dated video showing the Big Dog Motorcycle Factory building their 20,000 motorcycle.

First of all let me say it’s that my personal opinion that the Big Dog k9 model motorcycle is the best Factory produced chopper motorcycle ever!

So even though this is a really dated video, it shows what it was like at the hay day of factory produced Custom Motorcycles. Now, most people know that Big Dog went out of business, just like IronHorse motorcycles. The big difference was that IronHorse Motorcycles which were built in Fort Worth, has never come back, but Big Dog Motorcycles in Wichita Kansas, has come back and has been producing bikes once again.

Now, it’s my understanding that the current factory production of motorcycles is a tiny fraction of what it used to be. But, the fact is that Big Dog Motorcycles is currently producing motorcycles and usually everything that goes around comes around. What I mean is right now chopper motorcycles are out of favor and bagger motorcycles are in. I wouldn’t be surprised if the trend changes once again, and these beautiful Factory custom produced chopper motorcycles again become popular with the motorcycle riding community in the United States.
