2019 Chopper Motorcycle Comic-Con Ride

I for the last couple of years San Diego and Orange County choppers have gotten together for a ride down to Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp District on the last day of the Comic Con convention.

This is one of the very few times where it is the destination and not the ride that we get together for. This is perhaps the best opportunity to meet and have costume comic characters pose next to our bikes.

For 2019 the last day of the Comic Con convention will be Sunday July 21. We usually meet in Mission Valley and then ride down to Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp District of San Diego.

This is a chopper only ride and if you’re interested in going just post a comment so we can contact you with the details. Keep in mind, because of the huge popularity of this event, parking on Fifth Avenue just a couple of blocks from the convention center, is horrendous. Basically, we try to get some bikes between the parked vehicles, and as soon as one leaves, we move into that open space.

Comic-Con International 2019: July 18-21 (Preview Night: July 17)

It’s estimated 130,000 attendees will attend the convention. Comic-Con generates the most regional impact of any event all year: an estimated $143.1 million, with $3.1 million in hotel and sales tax revenue going directly to the City of San Diego’s general fund.

Comic-Con’s Robert A. Heinlein Blood Drive returns for its 43rd amazing year in 2019 with a 5-day drive.

This year blood donors will receive a free Avengers: Endgame T-shirt and other goodies.

Plus, donors are also entered into daily drawings for many fantastic prizes donated by exhibitors, professionals, and staff.
