Motorcycle Christmas
Motorcycle Christmas | California Bike Night
Southern California December bike night. This was the last San Diego Harley bike night in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego.
Harley Davison stunt riders, food, refreshments and great looking motorcycles all combined to make this one great San Diego motorcycle event.
Yes, there were two Santas at this event, which one was the real Santa?

I really have to say it’s nice of San Diego Harley Davison to put on these great motorcycle events. Sure, I know it’s good for them to, publicity and all, and showing off their inventory of bikes, but it’s also great for the San Diego motorcycling community as well.
Not only do you see some very talented motorcycle riders, doing things with Harleys that you thought can only be done with the smaller import bikes. But, it’s also a great opportunity to see how other local riders have customize their rides and to talk about memorable rides.
So, at this holiday season I’d really like to say thanks to San Diego Harley Davison for putting on some great motorcycle events all throughout the year!
A little Harley-Davidson history from From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
In 1901, 20-year-old William S. Harley drew up plans for a small engine with a displacement of 7.07 cubic inches (116 cc³) and four-inch (102 mm) flywheels. The engine was designed for use in a regular pedal-bicycle frame. Over the next two years, Harley and his childhood friend Arthur Davidson worked on their motor-bicycle using the northside Milwaukee machine shop at the home of their friend, Henry Melk. It was finished in 1903 with the help of Arthur’s brother, Walter Davidson. Upon testing their power-cycle, Harley and the Davidson brothers found it unable to climb the hills around Milwaukee without pedal assistance. They quickly wrote off their first motor-bicycle as a valuable learning experiment.
