Motorcycle Pants vs Regular Jeans

Motorcycle Safety Test – Motorcycle Pants vs Regular Jeans

Motorcycle Riding Pants really do save your skin in a slide. I never used to wear protective motorcycle riding jeans. But, I guess when you get older you become a little more sensible and realize that just like wearing a seatbelt in a car, it’s kind of a pain but if you are in an accident, you would want to be without it.

Motorcycle Pants vs Regular Jeans. Who will prevail? Safety vs arguable style? Hint: Safety wins. Always.

Motorcycle riding jeans are similar in the fact that there heavyweight, and the good ones have protective pads at the knees and waste, so there little different than just regular jeans. But, keep in mind walking down the street, is a hell of a lot different than writing your high-speed chopper at 65 miles an hour on the freeway.

One of the things when going down on a motorcycle, is that in a lot of cases you going to be getting along the street, and this is what these genes are made for. You really need something to be a protective layer between you and the road bed. A good motorcycle riding jeans have both Kevlar reinforced areas around the knees and ways and also (in some cases) removable hard plastic pads for the same area.

It’s all about being prepared! You I can even remember the last time I was in a motorcycle accident. But now that I’m quite a bit older I realized that my reaction time has increased, type bones have become more brittle, and is a huge number of jerks on the highway that are still talking on their cell phones. All these conditions caused me to seek out a good pair of protective riding jeans that I put on each and every time I take my bike out. I guess my biggest complaint is, they are a little warmer which can make really hot days and in town riding slightly uncomfortable.
