The newer Big Dogs come with an S&S 124 engine. With the huge 300mm rear tire and a length over 9′, it takes a few rides to get used to the power & handling.
The head-turning looks and sound of this flagship of the Big Dog line is certinally not for everyone! The bike is NOT hard to ride, but as a factory produced custom chopper, I belive it has no equal! (more…)
Big Dog k9 chopper
For many motorcycle riders, the chopper epitomizes individuality, sleek styling and naturally a true muscle machine. Choppers traditionally are not made for hairpin turns or acceleration off the line.
Choppers are made for in town-riding and cruising the highways usually no more than a couple of hundred miles from their garage. Now, with choppers being relatively just a couple of percent of the entire motorcycle population, their appearance on the highway, local motorcycle event or just the local biker bar always creates a lot of attention and admiration. This k9 has had a new upgraded EHC installed! Diamond cut cylinder heads, newer tires and battery. All the service work on this bike has been done by professionals with documentation. Naturally, this bike is been very pampered, never down, and always kept in a garage. (more…)
