This video was taken Mid-January with the temperature at 76°. Cave Creek Arizona has a lot of bars and restaurants and is a very popular ride destination for the Phoenix Arizona area. Cave Creek Arizona has a very similar vibe to Julian California which is about 50 miles out of San Diego. They’re both old gold mining towns and very popular ride destinations. (more…)
This is a ride on my 2017 Big Dog k9 clone just about 10min. north of my new home in Peoria Arizona.
For now, I’d like to point out that the first thing I noticed writing around the Western part of the Phoenix Valley, was that the roads are very well maintained and also clean of roadside trash. Now I’m not talking just about the major freeways but also all the local community roads. (more…)

This 360° motorcycle video was done with a Insta360 One X camera. This camera does NOT move. All the movement was done in post-production. Keep in mind that this video camera was mounted on my Big Dog k9 chopper. So, there was a lot of vibration. Yet, the built-in stabilization did a great job of making the video smooth! (more…)
I’m talking about do-it-yourself maintenance for chopper motorcycles but, all these motorcycle checks would apply to almost any other motorcycle. as well.
Keep in mind, It’s little things like these checks and maintenance that can keep you from being stuck on the side of the highway on some lonely mountain road. But not only that, doing motorcycle maintenance for yourself will save you quite a bit of money compared to bringing it into the dealer, and also, provides great satisfaction in knowing that you were able to do it and that it’s been done correctly. The newer Big Dogs come with an S&S 124 engine. With the huge 300mm rear tire and a length over 9′, it takes a few rides to get used to the power & handling.
The head-turning looks and sound of this flagship of the Big Dog line is certinally not for everyone! The bike is NOT hard to ride, but as a factory produced custom chopper, I belive it has no equal! (more…)
I have a K-9 and after you get used to riding it it’s no problem. One of the most comfortable bikes I’ve ever ridden and I’m an old guy.

2019 Cajon Classic Cruise last show of the season. The show is an annual event for Hot-Rods and motorcycles that runs from mid-April until the last week in October.
All the festivities are on East Main Street between Magnolia and Claydelle Avenues, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Prescott Promenade in El Cajon. (more…)
