The usual Southern California motorcycle events that I’ve attended usually include stunt riders, bikini bike wash, slow riding contest and the always popular wet T-shirt contest. But this event at Coronado Beach Harley-Davidson has none of those activities! It was called the Paul Bunyan lumberjack contest.
Yes, the main reason I wanted to attend was because I couldn’t get the idea of a lumberjack contest at a motorcycle event. Plus, as I would venture to speculate most motorcycle riders in Southern California haven’t seen a lumberjack contest. Read more

16th annual May Ride – San Marcos after-party.
This biker after-party was at Biggs Harley-Davidson in San Marcos California. There were two stunt bike demonstrations, live music, dozens of vendors, a free kids zone, food, BMX stunts, wrestling, car & bike show, and much more. This event benefits Home Front San Diego which helps every branch of our military and their families. Read more

Well, I guess I should say hot Rod and motorcycle show because technically that’s what the Cajon Classic Cruise is really all about. This was opening night April 18, 2018 on Main Street in El Cajon just across from the Civic Center. The really great thing about this particular show is that it’s a weekly event, yes, every Wednesday evening from about 5 PM to 8 PM from now through October 31. Southern California Motorcycle Event:
Not only can you view a lot of great looking motorcycles, but, naturally there are hot rods, classic muscle cars and racing cars. Unlike many other shows around San Diego, this one, is totally free. Yes it’s free to view and also free to enter a vehicle. Each show ends with a little entertainment and awarding of trophies to the best in class. Read more

Here in sunny Southern California great bike riding weather all year round. Naturally, the season really kicks into high gear around mid-walk March- early April. This was videotaped at El Cajon Harley-Davidson which is just east of San Diego off of Highway 8 in early April. Read more
