Among the townsfolk was a young man named Ethan, a passionate biker with a dream to build his own custom motorcycle, a fantasy chopper that would turn heads and leave jaws on the floor. Eric’s bike featured in this video, is a 2004 American Iron horse Texas Chopper with the 111 in.³ S&S engine. This motorcycle was given to him by his dad who was the original owner of the bike. Eric rode this bike across country from Florida to San Diego California.
American iron horse produced a number of different motorcycle models, their top-of-the-line flagship model was the Texas Chopper. In my personal opinion the Texas chopper and the Big Dtheog K-9 model are two of the best factory built chopper motorcycles ever! Read more

Riding my 2006 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper on a really hot day in San Diego California.
The camera I am using to film this video is a GoPro Hero 4 Black and I’m shooting at 1080, 60 frames per second super wide angle mode. The camera, is mounted on the right side of my helmet.
If you’re using your GoPro camera to film your motorcycle rides, as long as it’s mounted on your body or your helmet you really don’t need a stabilizer to get good footage. But if you decide to mount the camera directly on the bike, the handlebars or the frame, it really pays to use a three axis gimbal to get your best shots. Read more

I have since sold this bike to an experienced motorcycle rider up in Washington State. I was going to be replacing it with a Big Dog K9 motorcycle. But, I ended up getting another American Ironhorse Texas Chopper . . The same year as this blue one, a 2006. It was all black ,but I wanted it so I could have my own custom paint job applied.
