Also, some riders have removed rust with only vinegar multiple times. It rips all the rust rigt out. problem is… it comes back no matter what I do. I coat it with marvels mystery oil and seafoam seconds after I rinse out the acid; Rust always comes back in 24 hours. (more…)
The Texas Chopper was the flagship of the Ironhorse motorcycle line. Many do not realize that Ironhorse made a number of different models (the majority of which are rigid frames) in their Fort Worth Texas facility. We are going to be featuring videos on many of the Ironhorse models in the coming weeks.
As I said, the Texas Chopper was the most popular of the Ironhorse models followed closely by their Legend model. Actually, these two models were both swinging arm suspension choppers. What really made them very popular was the distinctive classic chopper look, while providing a soft tail ride. (more…)

The Ironhorse motorcycle that you’re looking at on the opening screen of the above video, is a Legend model. This particular one has a 2008 Texas Chopper tank on it. If you look closely you’ll see some of the differences between the Texas Chopper, the second motorcycle in, and the Legend the first motorcycle in the foreground. First of all, look at the swinging arm on the rear wheel and you can see that the Legend is an A-frame style and on the Texas Chopper has a straight bar that goes back to the wheel. (more…)

In short, turn the handlebars left to go right, and turn the handlebars right to go left. This principle holds true at speeds from about 15 or 20 mph and higher, and is true of all motorcycles.

The red Texas Chopper is a 2007, my copper color Texas Chopper is a 2006 and the third American Ironhorse motorcycle in this video is a 2007 Legend model. the Texas Chopper was the flagship of the American Ironhorse motorcycle line. It was extremely popular because it had a classic rigid frame chopper look and yet it was actually a soft tail motorcycle.
