Daytona Bike Week 2022 was plagued by rain as many bikers had to dodge storms and many got soaked while out on rides and enjoying the many Bike Week events.

As you will see in this video the rain did not dampen the Bike Week fun on Main Street as thousands of motorcycles showed off their bikes. (more…)

Checking out some old school choppers at the 81th Annual Daytona Bike Week (2022). Hundreds of people are in attendance. So, come along as I see what they have for us.

Daytona Beach Bike Week, also called Daytona Bike Week, is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event.

There’s nothing like riding a good-looking Chopper through the countryside!

Sure, riding any type of motorcycle through open roads in the country is a great experience.  But, riding a high-powered, cool looking chopper, it’s really a kick in the ass! How many real chopper riders think about those great rides on the open country roads during the winter off-season?  Personally, I bet there’s quite a few, as we’re looking forward to the warmer weather and getting our machines back out on the road. Here in the Arizona area there are many motorcycle rides.

But there’s quite a difference between a motorcycle ride and an exclusive Chopper ride. Sure, Choppers have their admirers and their detractors, but one thing’s for sure when a group of Choppers get together for a ride they attract a lot more attention and admiration from the General Public then a bunch of stock motorcycles. When it comes to Orange County Choppers corporate theme bikes, with most motorcycle enthusiasts, there is no middle ground . . .  You either like them or hate them!

Personally oh, I think most will agree that the OCC team was pretty creative not only with their bikes but in carving out a corporate niche four theme by creation.

The fact that Junior kicked Senior’s butt in the Junior vs. Senior contests tells you who had more talent. The fact that Junior then build his business without all the money mismanagement of OCC, tells you who is the better businessman.

American Ironhorse Legend Model

My favorite American IronHorse is the Texas Chopper.  In second place is this Legend model.  I have owned both, and just like the wider tire (280  up to 2008 when they went to 300) look!

I still remember when I rode my first Legend while still owning my Texas Chopper. I thought the handling on the Legend, (because of the  240 tire versus  the Texas Choppers wider 280)  handled more like a sportbike when compared to the Texas Chopper. (more…)

Custom & Vintage Motorcycle Show – Pa.

Kurt and Alexa Diserio of Pittsburgh Moto Magazine decided to take the reins on the custom motorcycle scene in Pittsburgh, PA by starting their magazine a couple of years ago.

It seemed like the natural progression to eventually create a motorcycle show to bring more of that custom culture to Pittsburgh as well. With that in mind, Glory Daze was created. Their vision was to give a place for local builders to shine and inspire those who walk through the doors ideas and thoughts to create something new with their own two hands. (more…)
