West Coast Thunder 2018 Riverside California.

This video was shot in the staging area for what I believe is California’s largest motorcycle rally . . . The annual West Coast Thunder motorcycle ride from Riverside California stopping at the Riverside National Cemetery ( the third largest national cemetery in the country), to place flags at the grave sites, and then proceeding on down the highway 215, with a California Highway Patrol escort to the Paris County Fairgrounds for a concert. This biker after-party was at Biggs Harley-Davidson in San Marcos California. There were two stunt bike demonstrations, live music, dozens of vendors, a free kids zone, food, BMX stunts, wrestling, car & bike show, and much more. Yes, it’s not even past the engine brakein period! also, just a few days ago, I had Curtis of Wild Steed Wox clean up and go over the electrical system because the Arizona dealer did a sloppy job on installing the upgraded EHC. At the same time, I had Curtis mount new Avon tires and balance them with the micro-bead system, so no ugly lead weights needed. When it comes to doing your own motorcycle maintenance, changing your primary case oil is perhaps one of the easiest preventive maintenance procedures that you can tackle on your own.

In this video I’m doing the primary oil change on a 2007 Big Dog K-9 motorcycle. the basics of this procedure are pretty similar for all makes and models of motorcycles. But, with that said before starting any motorcycle maintenance or repair, you definitely want to check with your owners manual on how the manufacturer recommends it be done

It should be obvious that even the same model motorcycle from year-to-year can have different specifications on doing maintenance procedures so this is why it’s critical when you’re tackling this yourself to do the research before undertaking the motorcycle maintenance. if you can’t find your owners motorcycle manual or the shop manual, I would suggest that you contact your dealer who may be able to supply you with a PDF of these documents.     Big Dog Motorcycle Primary Oil Change: (more…)

Southern California Motorcycle Event

Well, I guess I should say hot Rod and motorcycle show because technically that’s what the Cajon Classic Cruise is really all about. This was opening night April 18, 2018 on Main Street in El Cajon just across from the Civic Center. The really great thing about this particular show is that it’s a weekly event, yes, every Wednesday evening from about 5 PM to 8 PM from now through October 31. Southern California Motorcycle Event:

Not only can you view a lot of great looking motorcycles, but, naturally there are hot rods, classic muscle cars and racing cars. Unlike many other shows around San Diego, this one, is totally free. Yes it’s free to view and also free to enter a vehicle. Each show ends with a little entertainment and awarding of trophies to the best in class. (more…)
