Motorcycle Accident – rider loses control on turn

Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle rider takes a turn with too much speed and ends up losing control. Luckily the motorcyclist only suffered a fractured collarbone, along with a few scratches.

Looks like somebody got a little too freaked out passing that “Left Lane Ends” warning sign at about 80 miles an hour and over corrected juuuuuuust a wee bit too far to the right. “An’ another one rides the bus, hey, hey!!!…”, well, at least until his arm finishes its stint in the sling… 😀 (more…)

Harley Motorcycle Accident

Harley Motorcycle Accident – San Diego Motorcycle Stunt Crash

San Diego Motorcycle Stunt Crash at San Diego Harley Davidson Bike Night.

First of all, that me say that the stunt rider in this video did not get injured. Plus, the bike did get some damage but it all looked relatively minor when seen close-up.

Now doing wheelies on lightweight Japanese bikes is one thing, but, on Harley-Davidson’s bikes it’s quite another. (more…)

NYPD CRUSHES MOTORCYCLES

NYPD CRUSHES MOTORCYCLES

This is a prime example of government stupidity! The city’s top cop made good on his promise to destroy dozens of ATVs and dirt bikes seized during illegal rides through the city.

What a real waste of taxpayer money, perhaps I should say potential money. I can understand the police in New York City sending a message but why do they have to send the message by crushing dirt bikes and ATVs after they’ve confiscated them? Just doing a news conference in front of these confiscated by which surely send the same message when it’s played on TV. But, the real difference would be that then the city could sell these confiscated motorcycles and ATVs and raise funds for the city and the police department. (more…)

Bike Night San Diego Harley Davidson

Bike Night San Diego California

This was bike night at San Diego Harley Davison. This video is the first of about two or three that I’m going to be putting together about this event. This video is a short overview of the happening

There were about five Harley Davison stunt riders that were performing right on Marina Boulevard in front of the dealership. Unfortunately early on in the stunt riding one rider laid his bike down. Luckily, eating get hurt and the bike just got a broken peg and a couple of bad scrapes. (more…)

Motorcycle Hubless Wheel

Motorcycle 30″ Hubless Wheel

Here is Ballistic Cycles 30″ Hubless Wheel, Twin Turbo, Full Aluminum Body, Air/Liquid Cooled, Harley Bagger rolling in Sturgis 2014. This Bagger is the sickest you will ever see. We won Baddest Bagger at Full Throttle Saloon, Deadwoods Nastiest Bagger, and Best of Show at the Easy Rider Saloon.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

One example of hubless wheels are those used in the Tron: Legacy light cycle. The illuminated, street-legal motorcycle was sold through Hammacher Schlemmer, inspired by the computer animated cycle from the 2010 film Tron: Legacy. (more…)

Custom Chopper Builder

Custom Chopper Builder – Tom Fugle

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

The first choppers were built in America, and were an outgrowth of the milder customization trend that had originated after WW2 when returning soldiers and others began modifying cars and motorcycles, frequently to improve performance in top-speed races on dry lake beds in Southern California and similar desolate spaces such as unused airstrips in other parts of the country, or on the street for street racing. These early modified motorcycles were known as “bobbers”, and there are many common features between bobbers and choppers, with choppers differentiated being more radically modified, and especially by having the frame tubes and geometry modified (“chopped” by welding) to make the bike longer. Harley Crash and Save

Harley Crash

Harley Crash doing a radical wheelie. They should call the rider catman as he bailed out and landed on his feet.

I have nothing really negative to say about this video because at least the motorcycle driver was smart enough to practice stunts in what looks to be a warehouse area versus the public streets. Plus, he was smart enough wear a full face helmet.

I guess if I was intent on practicing motorcycle stunt riding I would’ve have also had set of Kevlar jeans, protective gloves and definitely a good set of boots that would protect my ankles. (more…)
