Harley’s are old antique crap. If, like the old days, a small percentage road Harleys, I would pay no attention to them, like back then. But 30 years ago the USA was hit with a stupidity bomb and all new buyers as a result of the fallout, decided they no longer cared about performance and decided that it was better to showboat. But riding one of those rattle traps is an awful price to pay to get laid!
Thirty years ago when the Jap crap flooded the market lots of wannabe bikers bought the Viragos their worth 150-200 bucks today the Harleys are worth twice what the owners paid thirty years ago
You don’t have to have a PhD to figure that one out
Harleys are better quality build fit and finish better value better handling better all around bike period
I owned a Honda 350. A CL-350 the previous owner fitted with CB-350 down pipes. It did not corner any better and was definitly slower than my 1968 XLCH Sportster. And I paid 250 bucks for it.
One bike I liked better than the Honda was a Yamaha 175 Enduro. It was fairly fasrt for it’s displacement and reliable. Fun to ride too.
