The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is an annual event held in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA. It’s one of the largest and most well-known motorcycle rallies in the world. The rally usually takes place in the first full week of August and attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the United States and beyond.
The rally began in 1938 when a group of local motorcycle enthusiasts, led by Clarence “Pappy” Hoel, organized a race and stunts event in Sturgis. Over the years, the event has grown significantly and now includes a wide range of activities such as motorcycle races, bike shows, live music performances, vendor exhibitions, and various other entertainment options.
