Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Problems
Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Problems
This video delivers a lot of good facts and detailed information about Harley-Davidson motorcycle sales.
Harleys have a NASTY reputation for being UNRELIABLE! Every single person I know that has a Harley, spends more time taking it to the shop than they do riding. The parts for them are extremely expensive too. While I am on the subject of price, Harleys are INSANELY over priced! Your average younger person now wants something that just works. Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha know that. That’s why they sell tons and tons of bikes. They are constantly cramming the latest tech into their bikes, and again, at a fraction of the price of a Harley. Read more

Harley-Davidson Motorcycles – A Company in Decline?
The problems facing Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The main problem with Harley-Davidson comes down to cost. They are just too damn expensive!
The motorcycle cruiser market is in the same place the car market was back in the day . . . import cars were cheap but viewed as low standard and inferior to American vehicles…nobody viewed them as a threat. Then the big three got complacent and stopped innovating making crap lemons while charging top dollar. Then imports quietly crept up improving, quality, power, looks and reliability and surpassed them. Then American cars were viewed as inferior. They are making a comeback slowly.
I see Harley Davidson going throught the exact same thing. These import cruisers are serious contenders. Harley-Davidson still has the name but consumers are getting smarter. Other import brands catch loyal customers a lot younger. Read more

Harley-Davidson 2016 CVO Pro Street Breakout
Harley-Davidson 2016 CVO Pro Street Breakout review vs 2014 CVO
Looks like Harley-Davidson 2016 CVO is incorporating more and more of the chopper look into their production bikes.
It’s nice to see that they finally got their engine up to a 110 and the rear tire up to a 240! I also like the fact that on this model they got rid of their huge speedometer control setup that was in the middle of a lot of their gas tanks.
Walk around and Start up of the 2016 Pro Street Breakout compared directly with the 2014 CVO Breakout. The 2016 CVO Pro Street Breakout is a mid-model-year 2016 release (january). The Pro Street Introduces new features such as inverted forks and dual disc brakes to the Breakout model.
Currently, I’m writing an 2006 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper that has an S&S 111 engine (actually they had three options for engines from 111 117 or 124) and a nice wide 280 rear tire. Plus, the Texas Chopper came standard with two front disc breaks. So, it just took Harley about 10 years to start to incorporate some of these features into their bikes. Read more
San Diego California motorcycle ride – hang gliding
San Diego California motorcycle ride to hang gliding sites.
There is no doubt that I have a type ‘A’ personality . . . I started off with my first Harley when I was in my early 20’s and then started off and hang gliding by constructing my own glider. I’ve been into hang gliding for approximately 20 years and as far as adrenaline sports goes, I don’t think there’s anything that can compare.
This is the second of two videos of our ride up to Julian and then out of Julian heading toward two of San Diego’s most famous hang gliding sites. The first one off of the Sunrise Highway, is for East winds, it’s a 3000 foot vertical cliff take off over the desert.
My personal record for hang gliding has been 50 miles and 15,100 feet as my highest altitude reached. I retired from hang gliding about five years ago and went back to high-powered good looking choppers. Read more

Motorcycle Show in New York
New Victory & Indian motorcycles by Polaris. The big question is will Polaris be able to gain a large enough share of the market to be a real (or for that matter survive) competitor against Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
