Chopper Motorcycles
This is a little video retrospective of some of the chopper motorcycles that I’ve owned over the years.
I grew up on the East Coast and that’s where my passion for high-powered chopper motorcycles began. Actually my first motorcycle was an old 1950 something Harley-Davison with a suicide shift.

Best San Diego Motorcycle Ride
This is one of the best San Diego motorcycle rides. If you love twisty mountain roads, you really have to ride out to Borrego Springs! Plus, there are great desert metal sculptures all over Borrego. These unique sculptures make for great photo spots. Best of all is a gigantic dragon, that is so long it stretches over the highway.
This is part one of two videos about our motorcycle ride to Borrego Springs California. Borrego Springs is completely surrounded by Anza-Borrego State Park, the largest of California’s State Parks.
The best part of this motorcycle ride is when you turn off of San Felipe a road and onto Montezuma Valley Road this is about 22 miles from that turn off down to Borrego Springs. The best part of the road, at least as far as motorcycles are concerned is the last 10 miles. This is right after your ride through Ranchita and then you start down the long grade to Borrego Springs. Make your next motorcycle video much more entertaining! I’m sure you know about VR 360 videos, this motorcycle video tip is how to use a 360° video to provide your audience scenes that you preselected from the raw 360° footage and then converted it into a regular ‘flat’ video. Motorcycle video tip:
Using this technique, is almost like having a passenger behind you filming your motorcycle ride at various angles, all from one small stationary 360° camera that is attached to your motorcycle helmet. Read more

Good Looking Custom Chopper Motorcycle
This is a great video for custom chopper motorcycle enthusiast. There is absolutely no narration, just a lot of good-looking custom chopper motorcycles!
Currently, here in the United States,, the chopper motorcycle look as stated in popularity and been replaced by the ‘bagger’ motorcycle. The bagger style motorcycle usually refers to a Harley or other large motorcycle that has saddlebags. Usually, a chopper motorcycle enthusiast wouldn’t be caught dead on one of these baggers! but, I bet the same could be true for a bagger motorcycle enthusiast attitude toward the chopper motorcycle. Ironhorse Motorcycles
Three cool looking iron horse motorcycles in San Diego’s East County.
Kevin is one guy who really likes horses . . . Not only real horses, but Ironhorses as well!
The Ironhorse motorcycle that you’re looking at on the opening screen of the above video, is a Legend model. This particular one has a 2008 Texas Chopper tank on it. If you look closely you’ll see some of the differences between the Texas Chopper, the second motorcycle in, and the Legend the first motorcycle in the foreground. First of all, look at the swinging arm on the rear wheel and you can see that the Legend is an A-frame style and on the Texas Chopper has a straight bar that goes back to the wheel. Read more

California Texas Chopper Motorcycle
Eric’s 2004 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper motorcycle. when it comes to factory manufactured chopper motorcycles, it’s my humble opinion that the American Ironhorse Texas Chopper and the Big Dog K-9 are two of the classic and best built chopper’s!
We did this video in front of San Diego Harley Davison on Marina Boulevard here in San Diego. many other motorcycle riders and most of the general public when looking at the Texas Chopper believe that it is a rigid frame model because of the low seat position and no visible rear shock absorbers. It’s been 49 years since my Harley Davison chopper took first place at a show in the New York City Coliseum.
After taking a break from motorcycling to spend 20 years enjoying hang gliding, about five years ago I got back into custom choppers.
This motorcycle site was set up originally just as a hobby site and even though choppers have gone out of favor (I’m sure they’ll be back) of baggers, I’m still totally hooked on their looks, power and most of all, they are smooth highway cruising. Read more

Arizona Motorcycle Ride
Arizona Motorcycle Ride – Footnote
This is a footnote to my 1-9-15 post about my Texas Chopper ride from the Phoenix Arizona area to San Diego:
When I was in Gilbert, Arizona, I noticed that the regular gas price was substantially cheaper than what it was that morning in San Diego. Now, because I go to Arizona quite often, I know this is always the case. Once you cross over the Colorado River the gas price usually drops by $. 30 or $.40 a gallon. This is due mainly to the high California state taxes and fees that are levied on every gallon of gas.
But in Chandler, Arizona we ran into a number of gas stations selling regular gas around a 1.91 per gallon. That morning at one of my San Diego neighborhood competitive gas stations the best price was $2.59. Read more
