Personally, I feel that this heads-up type display will actually be more of a detriment to safely riding one’s motorcycle that any benefit that can possibly be derived.

Also at $1500 per helmet. I just can’t believe that this will actually be a popular item for the motorcyclist. My current fullface helmet purchased about a year ago, has a Bluetooth built-in connection, so I can answer and make calls while riding my bike. Sure, there’s no heads-up display, but the helmet cost approximately $250. So it would seem that motorcyclist would be paying about $1250 just for a helmet that has to heads-up display and a rear facing camera.
With my current helmet. I can also listen to music while riding, and though I haven’t tried it, I believe it will also give me voice GPS directions through the helmet. Now, I’ve only been riding motorcycles for about 40 years, so I guess I’m a dinosaur motorcycle rider. But, I love technology. Almost as much as I love motorcycling. For me, though, with the Utes cost and the potential safety factor of a heads-up display inside the helmet, I’ve got to think that this is going to be a major flop. Now, keep in mind, this is just my personal opinion and I think if they got the price way down to about $500 or less, it could possibly might have much better acceptance.
Even at $500, just a few bad motorcycle accidents from motorcycle riders using this helmet, whether or not the accident was related to the helmet use, could kill any potential market the helmet was developing.
