Daytona Bike Week, is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event. The festivities include motorcycle racing, concerts, parties, and street festivals. Motorcycle Accident Lane-splitting California

This is in California where motorcycle spitting is legal. Yes, its legal in California because its statistically safer than getting crunched between to cars.

In a total unbiased opinion, I think it’s the cars fault. he was illegally changing lanes out of the carpool into a pretty tight space (no reason to do that). Even if this wasn’t in CA, I still think it’s the cars fault. If it is in Ca then it is 100 percent the cars fault

Lane splitting has been proven to be safer. It keeps you out of possibility to get rear ended, which end up causing more injuries than crashes like this. There is evidence to this. In my opinion the rider was splitting a bit too fast, but that car obviously didnt look before they turned.

Motorcycle Spike Air Cleaner Installation

This motorcycle Spike air cleaner installation was done on my 2006 American iron horse Texas chopper. This bike has an S&S hundred and 11 in.³ engine and an S&S carburetor.

My prior motorcycle was also a 2006 Texas chopper and on that one I changed out the standard air cleaner for a single Spike air cleaner.

From my new 2006 Texas chopper I decided originally to put on a big dog K-9 stock air cleaner because I thought it looked much better than the original iron horse air cleaner. (more…)

It’s not meant to be funny. It’s highlighting the fact that no matter how much technology you are using it can’t replace common sense. Hence the rider didn’t look to the right before pulling off. I thought it was pretty obvious. Many believe that this video is a total fake just to get views and to try to go viral.

Did anyone notice near the end of the video where the guy with the black curly hair walked towards the woman and the downed cyclist? Notice on the white of the truck by the guys head, there’s a shifting black orb. Bad video editing? I think that truck was CGI, along with the motorcyclist. The motorcycle also appears to be overly blurred. He wasn’t going fast enough for that. Also, the shattered glass from the tail light mysteriously disappears after it hit the ground. After Effects? CA Motorcycle Crash

Scary California motorcycle crash lane splitting. This California motorcycle rider was very lucky to escape death or serious injury.

I lane split during rush hour but only when other traffic is almost completely stationary. When its moving faster than 20 to 30 miles an hour ill take the lane again. Lane splitting can be dangerous and you should be very alert but being rear ended when last in the traffic jam is no fun either on a bike. And you dont have a small vehicle to stand in line like an idiot in a cage. Its meant to be used as a nimble vehicle and that means lane splitting and filtering. Luckily lane splitting is legal in California. (more…)
