You can save about $150 to $200 if you can do this yourself. You need a good lift, the proper tools and a bit of uncluttered floor space. Also, keep in mind, the directions in this video are NOT recommended for anything other than a steel rim. So, if you have a cool chrome or aluminum rim you have to use protection so you do not scratch or otherwise damage the finish.

There probably needs to be a disclaimer with the tire bead breaking method to avoid lawsuits. Something like “uncoordinated and/or overweight persons should not attempt”. : o
