San Diego Chopper Motorcycle Riders – Ramona custom motorcycle show ride
This ride is on Saturday 10-19-19 and is open for all riders, not just choppers. But, naturally, I hope we have a good number of choppers join this ride. This is the day before our big Borrego Days Festival ride. This custom motorcycle show is the fourth annual show sponsored by the Ramona Chamber of Commerce. The funds raised at the show go to Scholarship Programs and local non-profits through the Ramona Community Foundation.

For this ride, we will be meeting just off Hwy. 8 in La Mesa. KSU at 10:30am for a ride on Hwy 8, east to Hwy67 up to Ramona and Dos Picos County Park at 17953 Dos Picos Park Road, Ramona, CA 92065. For more information, visit the Ramona Chamber of Commerce page.
We are just planning to stay at the show for 45 Min. to an hour and than head back to San Diego. So, a relatively short ride with great scenery and a custom bike show thrown in. Naturally, if you’d like to enter the show, or stay there for a longer time that’s fine. We will be riding back the same way we came, on Highway 67 S. to Highway eight west.
On Saturday, October 19th 2019 the Ramona Chamber of Commerce presents the Ramona Motorcycle Rally. The 4th Annual Ramona Motorcycle Rally will feature a Custom Motorcycle Show and Oktoberfest. From 10 am to 5 pm guests can celebrate the Art of the Motorcycle while enjoying craft beer, food, vendors, games and live bands. Spectator entry is free and parking is only $3.
Motorcycles will compete for cool custom made trophies by Mad Scientist Creations and prizes donated by Lowbrow Customs, Biltwell Inc. and Viking Cycle.
Judged Motorcycle Classes
Judged Classes are: Stock, Custom, Bagger, Chopper, Classic/Vintage, Dyna/FXR/Sportster and 3-wheeled/Trikes/Side cars). Only first place winners in each category will receive an award. One motorcycle will be judged Best of Show. An award will also be presented to the Competitors Choice finalist.
Farmtruck and the Flipside Burners will be performing during the event! Farmtruck is an Alt. Country and Americana band and Flipside Burners guarantee to get the dance floor jumpin’ with some cool vintage rootsy Rockabilly or swingin’ Jump Blues tunes. Stick around and enjoy the show!
