Many believe this will be the hottest new motorcycle of 2015. There are two models, this one is the more popular SL which adds a camera and larger wheels. The back wheel is 20″ and the front wheels are 18″.
There’s two small luggage compartments that are revealed by folding the seats forward. Car and Driver has it rated at 0-60 in 4.6 and 130 top speed.
The Polaris is Bad Ass . . . A Mini Batmobile, Batman and Robin would have loved it!
I think Polaris has an awesome product that is not being marketed well. This is evidenced by so much confusion and arguing among potential customers over what this thing is good for. Here’s how I would describe it… Have you ever been racing a Go-kart at the track and secretly wished you could bust out of the course and race the thing on the street? That is what the Slingshot is. It’s not a super sport motorcycle, and it’s not a sports car. It shouldn’t be compared to those things. It’s like a Go-Kart you can sneak out onto city streets at night and race around. When you think about it that way… the Slingshot sounds incredibly FUN.
The only thing I would change would be to put a real wide rear wheel for better looks and extra stability.
