Big Dog Shock Absorbers
New Big Dog Shock Absorbers
Installing new rear shock absorbers for the Big Dog motorcycle. Although this video shows the shocks being installed on a Big Dog K-9 model motorcycle, actually, the shock absorbers shown here can also be used on a number of the Big Dog motorcycle models as well as certain Harley-Davidson models.
It was time for new shocks for my Big Dog k9 motorcycle. The ride had become rough and on a number of occasions out here in Southern California with our crappy roads, hitting the slightest bump, it could bottom out.
New Big Dog Shock Absorbers
I Set up an appointment with Curtis at www.wildsteedworx.com, to bring my Big Dog K-9 out to his shop. This video shows the new set of shocks that Curtis installed. Not only were these shocks good-looking chrome, but cost substantially less than the competition.
After the installation, no more bottoming out, and the difference is like night and day. Obviously, if your particular motorcycle shock absorbers have adjustable load adjustments, that would be the first way to go. But, on my particular bike the black shocks on the bike had no load adjustment. I’ve been riding my Big Dog k9 with the new shocks now for almost a month and it’s really a great ride.
